Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your email and sign-in details (including Google or Discord if you use them), your username and profile, your country, region, city and postcode, your cars and photos, your swap ads, and the messages you send on WYG.

What other people can see

Your username, photo, profile details, cars, ads, tier badge, city, region and country are public. Your exact postcode and your email are never shown to other users. We use your postcode only to work out roughly how far away other swaps are, and distances are rounded.

Messages are visible only to you and the person you wrote to.

Who helps us run WYG

Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments, we never see your card number) and, if you choose them, Google or Discord (sign-in). Postcode lookups use free map services.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account is open. To delete your account and data, contact us and we'll remove it. Payment records may be kept where the law requires.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use them for advertising profiles. Free-plan ad providers may add their own cookies once ads are switched on, and we'll update this page when that happens.
